The Youth Committee
The need for the African youth to mobilize and join the social political process of the African Renaissance is
now urgent than before. We believe that the future of a prosperous African Diaspora will depend on the
Leadership of young African descendants contributing with innovative ideas moving forward.
This Committee will:
• Engage the African Students on campuses so that they understand their roles and assignments;
knowing that they are the ones who will improve Africa’s future economy, governance and rewrite the
African history.
• Increase awareness among the African Youth to take the lead with a particular sense of urgency;
activism; advocacy and leadership.
• Propose programs and projects to benefit the Youth.
• Become the Liaison between the African Commission and the African/African diaspora student's
organizations/associations.
