Committee of Economic development and Aid to Africa
This committee carries the responsibility to improve the overall economic plans and social conditions of the
African and African Diaspora communities here in America and Africa.
The main duties of the Committee are to:
• Assist African entrepreneurs with their business projects by facilitating the acquirement of the
necessary documentations usually provided by the City.
• Provide new ventures and conduct projects at helping with the economic development of Africa.
• Coordinate and encourage the participation of NGOs to the social and development projects in Africa.
• Assist with the establishment of the Sister City programs in many African countries.
• Establish and maintain a relationship with the African Union (AU) and the New Partnership for African
Development (NEPAD).
