Committee of Social advocacy and humanitarian Affairs

This committee will shed light on the social and political challenges facing the African community and the
people from African descent abroad and on the continent of Africa.

This committee will:

•        Help identify the social problems facing the community and bring the information to the African
    Commission for action.

•        Organize social and informational awareness meetings with the participation of local officials and
    appropriate Institutions.

•        Organize Pro Bono immigration lawyers to assist with the legal and social integration challenges
     facing many Africans in the Diaspora.
•        Organize volunteers to provide help in soup kitchens, homeless shelters etc, in the Communities.

•        Advocate for justice and fairness in many of the social, economic and political issues undermining the
    credibility and success of the Africans in the Diaspora and the homeland Africa.

•        Advocate for human rights issues and the rights for women in the Diaspora and in Africa.

•        Establish the council of elders composing of religious and spiritual leaders, in order to advice and
    facilitate dispute resolutions between the various African groups and within the Diaspora Community
    at large. (The Old Style of dispute resolution utilized by our ancestors).
